In observance of the ‘Fire Prevention Week’ launched by the Government of Mizoram, the National Service Scheme (NSS) Units of the College organised an awareness programme on ‘Fire Prevention’ on 8th February, 2023, at the Central Campus.
Mr. Lalthlamuana, Vice Principal & Programme Officer and Mr. F. Sangvuana, Associate Professor & Programme Officer of N.S.S. spoke at the occasion. The programme was attended by 48 (Male-32, Female-16) volunters.
The ‘Fire Preventation Week’ was opened statewide by Mizoram Home Minister Lalchamliana on Monday, February 6, 2023 in Aizawl. And, the event has been observed every year since 2000 to create awareness about the importance of fire prevention.
