As notified by the Principal vide letter no. A.49011/10/2022/JTC, dated Aizawl, the 7th February, 2023, the students of 2nd Semester B.A. classes were assigned to participate in the community cleanliness drive in observance of Aizawl Day, 2023. The Mass Cleanliness drive was organised by Bawngkawn Local Council and Mr. H. Lalbuatsaiha, Member of the Local Council supervises the cleanliness work done by the students. The Health and Hygiene Committee along with the Green Leaders of National Green Corps (Eco Club) of the Institution were also assigned to supervise the cleanliness work.

The Aizawl Municipal Corporation’s Board of Councillors meeting held on 10 – 11 March, 2022 resolved to commemorate February 25, as ‘Aizawl Day’ to mark the begining of settlement in Aizawl. The Aizawl Municipal Corporation has estalished that the settlement for the eventual growth of Aizawl city started in 1890, and since then, February 25, 2023, shall be the 133rd year.
