The Startup India Yatra programme was organized at the College campus on today, i.e 25th Feb. 2019. Through this Yatra, students were getting registration through the submission of their mobile phone number and valid email id. Cleanliness Drive was organised by GJTC Eco-Club on 19th Feb, 2019 (Tuesday) at College Central Campus, Brigade Area. 50 students of Eco-Club members were participated in this activity. This year Eco-Club of GJTC has undertaken their activities with the theme of ‘Plastic Free Campus’.
Cleanliness Campaign was oragnised NSS Unit Govt. J. Thankima College on 19th February, 2019 at College Central Campus, Brigade Area. In this campaign 60 volunteers of NSS Unit were participated.
NSS Unit Govt. J. Thankima College has organized a special camping during 11th – 15th February 2019 at Bawngkawn, Brigade Area. On this camping, Waiting Shed with an area of 12 feet x 8 feet was constructed. 20 Voluteers (Male 14, Female 6) and 2 programme officers were participated.

National Deworming Day, 2019 was observed at College Campus on 8th February 2019. Health & Reception Committee of the College distributed anti-worm vaccine to students. The National Deworming Day is an activity of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India to make youngsters in the nation worm free.
