In order to maintain and continue zero ragging and enhancing the level of awareness within and outside the campus, the Anti-Ragging and Grievance Redressal Committee, GJTC had installed posters at various places of Central Campus. Anti-Ragging help-line numbers were also inscribed on the posters.
On 9th March, 2021, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed with Medhavi Foundation Aizawl, under the scheme of Pradhan Mantri Koushan Vikas Yojana, at the Principal’s Chamber. Mr. T. Offline Mode examination for Even Semesters was started on 24th March, 2021. Due to covid 19 pandemic, SoPs issued by the Govt were strictly followed while conducting and attempting the exam.
For the upkeep of clean and clear environment within and outside the classroom and for making the campus clean, every classes or semesters are informed and notified their duties of sweeping.
On 18th March, 2021, Department of Political Science has organised planting of banana trees at Central Campus near the college administrative building.
National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit Govt. J. Thankima College has organised ‘Observance of World Water Day : 2021’ on 22nd March, 2021 at Central Campus, Brigade Area. Mr. F. Sangvuana, Programme Officer (P.O.) has addressed the NSS Volunteer gathered and delivered a speech on the theme of World Water Day 2021 ‘Valuing Water.’
Under the sponsorship of Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Govt. of India, Eco-Club Govt. J. Thankima College and Mizoram Pollution Controll Board, Govt. of Mizoram has organized ‘NATURE CAMP’ at Dampa Tiger Reserve Forest during 19 – 21, March, 2021. Fire Prevention Week : 2021 was observed by Eco-Club Govt. Thankima College on 12 February, 2021. Due covid-19 pandemic, the observance was organized through online. Department of Economics has conducted study tour at Thenzawl Village during 1st to 4th March 2021. Thenzawl Village is located at Serchhip District which way 92 kms away from Aizawl City and it was well known for Handloom Industry.
