An awareness campaign was carried out in the campus by the NSS Units and Red Ribbon Club of Govt. J. Thankima College on 4th August, 2016, where all the students of the college were invited to participate in the event. A number of students from various departments participated in the campaign.

The NSS Units and Red Ribbon Club of Govt. J. Thankima College organized a Blood donation camp on 16th September 2016, where a total of 112 students and 9 Teachers took part. The number of students able to donate blood was 65 followed by 1 Teacher.
