Theme: One Day Seminar on People Education Programme organized by Mizoram KVI Board and GJTC. The program was chaired by Ms. Lalbiaknii Hmar Department of Political Science. Govt J.Thankima College. Mr. Zoramthanga Dept of Political Science ended the program with a vote of thanks.

Objectives:

1. To imbibe a spirit of self-support or Self Reliance
2. To develops a society in which people are aware of their rights and duties
3. to bring individual development to better relationship in the society
4. To literate people, to get knowledge and make a person smarter.

Body:

The Resource person talked about encouragement for investment through available resources and having saving attitude were the main highlighted points.

He literally discussed People Education that take pride for creating an atmosphere wherein both students and faculty can pursue boundless knowledge, a single roof where theory and practice goes hand in hand to present better understanding about oneself and world around him. Education at People Education prepares you to think boldly and act confidently in any business environment. At People Education the focus goes beyond education. People Education aims to prepare students for life – Making them a Leader.

Outcome:

1. The seminar was fruitful and encouraging. Participants found it informative and instructional
2. The topic itself enlighten the minds of the students, they found it very exquisite.
3. The role of people education is mentioned clearly and very applicable.
4. Resource person was very knowledgeable.
