5th September is celebrated as Teachers’ Day across India. This is the day when Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan was born. He was a philosopher, scholar, teacher, and politician and his dedicated work towards education made his birthday an important day in the history of India. We remember the great work of this exemplary person on this day.
To mark the occasion of the Teachers’ Day, 2018, the Students’ Union Leaders of 2016-17 made a surprised visit to the College and organised a Teachers’ Day celebration at the Teachers’ Common Room. A specially ordered teachers’ day cake cutting function was hosted by the Ex-Students’ Union Leaders which was attended by the Principal, Dr. C. Lalremruata and other faculty members.
The Students’ Union Leaders, 2016-17 were instrumental in the shifting of the College Central Campus to the present location at Brigade Area and have credited the Institution with awards and good name in co-curricular activities at the district and state level. They have also served as an important agent for the inception of various student’s clubs in the College.
The Principal and staff of the College expressed their gratitude to the Students’ Union Leaders, 2016-17 for the recognition given to the faculty of the College and wishes them good health and a properous future.
