Follow-Up of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) Between MCC and GJTC
Title: Student Exchange Program Between Govt J Thankima College (GJTC) and Mizoram Christian College (MCC)

Objective: The primary aim of the student exchange program was to enhance learning experiences through cross-institutional collaboration. This program allowed students to experience different academic environments, teaching methodologies, and institutional routines while fostering mutual understanding and cooperation between the two colleges.
Context: The student exchange program was initiated as part of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the Department of Management, Govt J Thankima College (GJTC), and Mizoram Christian College (MCC). In alignment with the agreement, 21 fifth-semester BBA students from GJTC and 5 fifth-semester BBA students from MCC participated in the exchange. The students followed the respective academic schedules and routines of the host institutions during the program.
The exchange program aimed to provide practical exposure to varied academic cultures and to promote academic collaboration in the spirit of the MoU. Both institutions welcomed the participants and ensured seamless integration into their respective academic environments.
Activities Undertaken:
- Classroom Participation: Students attended regular classes as per the host institution’s timetable, participating in lectures, discussions, and group activities.
- Interaction with Faculty and Peers: Students engaged in interactive sessions with faculty members and fellow students to exchange ideas, discuss challenges, and share academic perspectives.
- Campus Exploration: Students explored the facilities and resources available at the host colleges, gaining insights into their academic and extracurricular environments.
Expected Outcomes and Learnings: The student exchange program provided participants with:
- A broadened understanding of academic systems and teaching methodologies practiced in the partner institution.
- Enhanced interpersonal and communication skills through peer interaction.
- Exposure to diverse institutional routines and academic cultures, fostering adaptability and collaboration.
- Strengthened relationships between the institutions, laying the foundation for future academic and research collaborations.
- Insights into the practical application of management concepts in varied contexts.

Conclusion: The student exchange program was a significant step toward fulfilling the objectives outlined in the MoU between MCC and GJTC. The program strengthened institutional ties and demonstrated the potential for further collaborative initiatives.
Both institutions expressed their commitment to continuing such programs to foster academic excellence and mutual growth.
