Objectives:
The objective of the One Day Retreat Cum Drug Awareness Program is to educate and raise awareness about the dangers and consequences of drug abuse. This program aims to provide participants with information on the physical, mental, and social effects of drug use, as well as strategies for prevention and intervention. Through interactive workshops, discussions, and activities, participants will gain a better understanding of the risks associated with drug abuse and develop skills to make informed and healthy choices. Additionally, the retreat will provide a supportive and empowering environment for individuals to connect with others who are committed to living a drug-free lifestyle.
The context:
One day Retreat cum Drug Awareness Campaign & MSEU visiting program was jointly organized by Students Evangelical Union and Anti- Drug Club, GJTC and Mizoram Students Evangelical Union (MSEU) at Central campus, GJTC.
Resource persons:
- Esther Lalkhawngaihdawngkimi, Counsellor, Family guidance and Counselling centre, Psychologits DCPC and
- Vanlalvuana, Synod Revival Speaker, Venghlui.
