With the objective to drive localization of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to the village level, a Leadership Training for Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Local Immersion Programme for Higher Educational Institute was organised by Planning & Programme Implementation Department (Research and Development Branch), Goernment of Mizoram on Friday, February 3, 2023 at the auditorium on Mizoram Rural Bank Head Office, MINECO, Aizawl.

Three (3) teachers – Mr. Lalthlamuana, Mrs. Zairemtluangi, Mrs. C. Vanlalruati, and eight students of the College attended the training programme.

Higher Education Institutions invited to attend the training programme were given ₹ 60,000/- each as an expenditure to conduct a two days study on the problems and difficulties faced by their respective Adopted Village. A report of the study along with the proposals for solutions to the problems shall be prepared, and a students competition on the project shall be held in March, 2023.

The Project is intended to be an unique opportunity for the students to learn and hone the skills necessary to lead necessary changes.
