A meeting of Government J. Thankima College Alumni Association (GJTCAA) and Alumni Advisors was held on 6th February, 2023 at the IQAC Office, Central Campus. The meeting, chaired by Pu Lalmuankima, President of the Alumni Association discusses various agendas that would facilitate active engagement of alumnus in the College activities and development.

The meeting resolved to organised a grand Alumni Home-Coming cum General Body Meet in 2023, and to observe the World Environment Day, 2023, by organising a programme that would involve the alumnus and the students of the Institution. The meeting also stressed on the need for Alumni members to utilise the social media platform, such as the Whatsapp group of various Departments to stay connected and be informed of the day-to-day events of the Institution.

The Alumni also decided to continue strengthening the Health Centre by donating stretcher and crutches at the earliest. The Alumni Association have been playing an active role in assisting the Institution through their participation in committees and College activities, interactions with students and donations.07
