The 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi was observed by screening a documentary film of Mahatma Gandhi at the Central Campus, GJTC on Monday, October 8, 2018. The programme was organised by the History Club, GJTC.

The History Club Leader Lalsawmkima, V Semester student hosted the programme and C. Gospela, III Semester student presented the documentary film of Mahatma Gandhi. The film highlighted the life story of Gandhi and his leadership in the struggle for independence against the colonial power. The contribution, struggle,  philosophy and teachings of Gandhi depicted in the film was an immense source of inspiration for students.

A total of 50 students of History from I, III & V Semesters including the History Club leaders attended the programme.
