No of participants: 30 students and 2 teachers.

Objectives:

  1. To Promote Awareness: Educate students about HIV/AIDS, its transmission, prevention, and the importance of early detection.
  2. To Encourage Voluntary Testing: Motivate students to undergo HIV testing in a safe, stigma-free, and accessible environment.
  3. To Reduce Stigma: Normalize HIV testing and break societal stigmas surrounding HIV/AIDS.
  4. To Facilitate Early Detection: Identify cases of HIV at an early stage to ensure timely medical intervention and management.
  5. To Foster Health-Conscious Behavior: Encourage students to adopt safe practices and responsible health habits.
  6. To Provide Counseling and Support: Offer pre-test and post-test counseling for emotional support and education.

 

Outcomes :

  1. Increased Awareness: Students gained knowledge about HIV/AIDS, transmission, and prevention strategies.
  2. Active Participation: Encouraged students to take a proactive role in monitoring their health through testing.
  3. Early Detection: Identified individuals, if any, requiring further medical assistance, enabling timely intervention.
