A Drugs Awareness Campaign and One Day Students’ Evangelical Union Retreat cum Mizoram Students’ Evangelical Union Leaders Visit programme was organised at the Central Campus on Friday, August 26, 2022. The objectives of the programme was to raise awareness on mental health issues of the youth, awareness against drugs abuse as well as revival of the moral, ethical and spiritual well being of the students of the Institution. A total of 352 (Male – 173, Female – 176) students, three (3) alumni, 37 members from MSEU and six (6) teachers of the Institution participated in the programme. Office bearers of the MSEU and President John Zoliana were also presented at the occasion in fulfilment of the leader’s visit programme.

The programme was a two session programme in which the first session was chaired by Vanlalruati, Associate Professor and Patron of SEU, and the second session was chaired by PC Lalngaihawmi, Secretary, SEU; A vote of thanks was proposed by Maria Lalremruati, Associate Professor and Adviser of SEU & Exe. Committee Member of MSEU. The programme was jointly organised by Students’ Evangelical Union of Govt. J. Thankima College, Anti-Drugs Club of Govt. J. Thankima College and Mizoram Students’ Evangelical Union.
