National Deworming Day 2022 was observed by Health & Hygience Committee on 2nd September, 2022 at Central Campus, Govt. J. Thankima College. The programme was hosted by Rebecca Khiangte, Secretary, Health & Hygiene Committee and Associate Professor, Department of History

Resource person
Lalrinsangi Ralte, Associate Professor, Department of English and HHC member delivered speech on the importance of observing National Deworming Day. She also highligted the effects of worms in human body and health.

Programme outcomes:
The Health & Hygiene Committee invited Students from I Semester below 19 years and distributed 50 tablets of Deworming medicine to the students.
It also prepared flyers and informed the students to update their status in observance of National Deworming Day 2022.
