Lalthangliana s/o Khumvela and Thangremkimi passed away on July 13, 2018. He was born on August 4, 1991, at Senvon, Manipur and settled in Aizawl in 2007. He passed his undergraduate studies in 2015 from J. Thankima College, Bawngkawn, Aizawl. He was survived by his wife Lalnunthari and a son Matthew Lalrinchhana.

While working under Zualte Business Enterprise, Bawngkawn, he met with an accident (Electrocuted) on Friday, July 13, 2018. He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for medical attention, however, he succumbed to his injury and responded to the heavenly call on the same day.

While being a student of Govt. J. Thankima College, Lalthangliana was studying Political Science. He was quiet by nature but active in various extension activities and exhibited good character.

The College deeply mourns the demise of Lalthangliana. May his soul rest in peace and the Almighty be the guide and strength for his family.
