In pursuance of the Hon’ble Supreme Court Order dated 8.5.2009 in cilvil appeal No. 887/2009, UGC has notified ‘Regulations on curbing the menace of ragging in HEIs, 2009,’ and as per the 2nd Amendment and 3rd Amendment in UGC Regulations, all the students in HEIs are mandated to register their names in UGC anti-ragging website. In consequence of the above judgement made by the Hon’ble Supreme Court and notification made by the UGC, Govt. J. Thankima College Anti-Ragging Grievance Redressal Cell (ARGRC) has organised Motivation Campaign Against Anti-Ragginga and UGC Online Registration to the UGC website (i.e. https://www.antiragging.in) on 29th March, 2019 at the college Central Campus, Brigade Area. More than 180 students were registered to the UGC anti-ragging helpline website on this day.
