Report of event: The program was organized by Department of Mizo. Govt.J.thankima College. The program was Chaired by Me B.Lalzarzova associate professor Department of Mizo . Dr H. Laldinmawia was the resource person. Mr.Lalhmachhuana Vice Principal delivered a vote of thanks .the program ended at 12:pm No of Participant: 20 Objectives: 1. The objective approach to literary work begins with a full description of it, if it is in the ground of poetry, it concerns the physical elements or technical properties. 2. The reader should try to elucidate the author’s methods and meaning in an entirely objective way. Theme: Theory of Literature; Resource person: Dr.H.Laldinmawia; Department of Mizo, Pachhunga University College Body: The Resource person talked about learning literature as a school of thought or style of literary analysis that gives readers a means to critique the ideas and principles of literature. Literary theory further insight into literary texts. It helps readers gain a deeper understanding while reading literature by drawing on a critical theory.

Outcome: 1. Students reported to have the knowledge and skills to demonstrate an appreciation of the role played by theories and methodologies in the ongoing reframing of literary study; 2. Students can evaluate and apply relevant theoretical arguments or methodological techniques to the analysis of literary texts or other literary artefacts 3. The seminar was excellent; the presenter always showed real examples and addressed all the audience .
