15th to 16th December, 2022:NGC (Eco Club) was organized Green Pledge, Planting Trees and Cleanliness Drive during NAAC Peer Team Visit. Sixteenth (16) Volunteers are actively participated and received NAAC Peer Team Members on behalf of Eco Club, Govt. J. Thankima College. Green Initiative and Eco-Friendly Campus is one of the institutional Best Practice which is the contribution of Eco Club, Govt. J. Thankima College.
- Planting trees:
- Objective: To increase green cover and promote biodiversity in the environment.
- Outcome: Improved air quality, reduced soil erosion, enhanced wildlife habitat, and overall beautification of the surroundings.
- Cleanliness drive:
- Objective: To create awareness about the importance of maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in public spaces.
- Outcome: Cleaner and healthier environment, reduced pollution, and a sense of community pride and responsibility.
- Green pledge:
- Objective: To encourage individuals to commit to sustainable practices and reduce their carbon footprint.
- Outcome: Increased awareness about environmental issues, promotion of eco-friendly habits, and a positive impact on the overall health of the planet.
