Objective :
The purpose of the course is that the students acquire necessary knowledge and skills required for organizing and carrying out entrepreneurial activities, to develop the ability of analysing and understanding business situations in which entrepreneurs act and to master the knowledge necessary to plan entrepreneurial activities. The objective of the course is, further on, that the students develop the ability of analysing various aspects of entrepreneurship – especially of taking over the risk, and the specificities as well as the pattern of entrepreneurship development and, finally, to contribute to their entrepreneurial and managerial potentials.
Body: Under the Personality Development Course of RUSA 2.0 (Equity Initiatives 3rd Installment), Department of Education, GJTC has organized ‘Lecture Series on Entrepreneurship Skill’ at GJTC Conference Hall at Central Campus, Brigade Area on 6th February, 2020. The programme was divided into two sessions. In the 1st Session, Mrs. Vanlalruati, Associate Professor, dept of Education GJTC was the Resource Person (Internal) and delivered the success story of Mr. J. Thankima (L), a philanthropist and an eminent entrepreneur in the state. In the 2nd Session, Mrs. Lalhmangaihzuali (External Resource Person), an alumnus of GJTC and Senior Gold Director of Oriflame Company in Mizoram has delivered the a topic of Importance of Entrepreneurial Skills and Acquiring of Entrepreneurial Skills through Learning.
Outcome: Students advance their skills in customer development, customer validation, competitive analysis, and iteration while utilizing design thinking and process tools to evaluate in real-world problems and projects.
