No of teachers who gave blood: 0 The aim is to raise global awareness of the need for safe blood and blood products for transfusion and of the critical contribution voluntary, unpaid blood donors make to national health systems. On 8th August, 2019 Blood Donation Camp was jointly organised by NSS Unit (GJTC), Red Ribbon Club (GJTC) and Blood Bank Aizawl Civil Hospital at the College Central Campus. Students from various classes sacrificed and donated their blood for the needy patients of Aizawl Civil Hospital. In this camp 117 Units of Blood (Male :101 and Female : 16) have been donated. Outcome: Blood camps experience a rewarding event that provides leadership opportunities, brings organizations together, and promotes a lifesaving cause.
