On 14th July, Pu Vanlalhlana, MLA Aizawl North-II had visited Govt. J. Thankima College to see the completed construction work of Students’ Rest Shed, which was funded by his MLA Local Area Development Fund amounting to Rs. 4 lakhs. The MLA also donated Rs. 30,100/- for the 10 poor students who did not have any support from their families for financing the expenditures of Admission fee. The MLA also promised the principal for providing additional MLA Fund for the construction another students’ rest shed at the Southern corner of Central Campus (Upper Court Yard) and he planted a tree (ficus bengalensis) at the fornt of Students’ Rest Shed.
