Students’ Evangelical Union of Government J. Thankima College attended the 11th Spiritual Convention of Mizoram Students’ Evangelical Union at Mamit Hmunsam Presbyterian Church, Mamit, during 31st August – 2nd September, 2018. The Convention was hosted by Government Mamit College and Hmunsam Presbyterian Church of Mamit.

The theme of the Convention was, ‘To steadfastly look unto heaven in the service of Christ ‘ (Acts 7:55), and Vanlalvuana, Ex-Officio of MSEU and Mizoram Synod Revival Speaker was the speaker at the Convention.

Govt. J. Thankima SEU Choir consisting of forty members performed on Saturday, September 1, 2018 in the first session of the day, which was chaired by C. Vanlalruati, Assistant Professor and Teacher i/c of SEU of the College. One Student’s Union Leader of the College also accompanied the SEU delegates.

The Convention was a grand success attended by 820 delegates from higher secondary schools, Mizoram University and various branches of MSEU. C. Vanlalruati, Teacher i/c and the delegates of the College shall make their return journey on Monday morning.
