The Department of Education organized a grand parting social for the 2015 batch Education Core students at the Central Campus today.

The Head of Department Incentive Award for those acquiring 80% and above in a particular paper was awarded to Lalhmingmawia who secured 84% marks and Lalchhandama who secured 80% marks in Paper IX. The Award carries cash amounting to ₹ 1,000.

Speaking at the occasion, the Principal Dr. C. Lalremruata told the gathering that their success is the result of their hard work, dedication, and determination. He also encourages the students to uphold truth and honesty in all aspect of their endeavor in life.

Zairemtluangi, Associate Professor of Education, also spoke at the occasion highlighting ten points of success in life.

Laldinsanga and Lalhmingmawia, the outgoing students delivered a farewell speech(s) on behalf of the 2015 batch. They thanked their teachers for love and support are given to them while they were students of the College. They also expressed their gratitude for the study tour organized and the financial assistance given towards the same by the teachers of the Department.

A citation was presented to the Department by the students and the parting social programme concludes with a grand dinner at the Central Campus.
