Problem of the Study:
The Education Department, Govt. J. Thankima felt the need to undertake a Survey on Educational Scenario of Nausel, Adopted Village of Government J. Thankima College, Aizawl, Mizoram.
Objective of the Survey:
- To study the Educational scenario of Nausel Village.
Details of Experiential learning through Educational Survey:
Five faculties along with 12 students (from 5 semester) participated in the educational survey at the adopted village Nausel. Both the teachers & students gained insightful knowledge through direct observation and interview. Information/Data gathered from Mr. Malsawmtluanga, President, Young Mizo Association (YMA), Pi Lalhmangaihi, Secretary, MHIP (Mizo Hmeichhe Insuihkhawm Pawl) and faculties of Govt. Elementary School and Children Blessing School, Nausel. Data collected are analysed and interpreted in the following:
Educational Institution at Nausel Village:
There are 2 (two) educational institutions and 1(one) Pre-school (Anganwadi Centre) in the Village. They are-
- Anganwadi centre for pre-schoolers
- Elementary School (classes I-VIII)
- Children Blessing School
