Objective:

To propagate new banana plants for the consumption of the students, teachers and community.

Outcomes:

  1. Self-sufficiency in consumption.
  2. Biodiversity: Banana plantations can provide habitats for a variety of wildlife, including birds, insects, and small mammals.
  3. Carbon sequestration: Banana plants absorb carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, helping to mitigate climate change.
  4. Soil conservation: Banana plants have deep root systems that can help prevent soil erosion.
  5. Water conservation: Banana plants can help retain moisture in the soil, reducing the need for irrigation.
