Objective:

The objective of a nature camp is to provide participants with an opportunity to connect with nature, learn about the environment, and develop a deeper appreciation for the natural world.

The context:

2nd to 4th March, 2023: Nature Camp 2022-2023 under EEP is organized by Mizoram Pollution Control Board in associated with National Green Corps (Eco Club), Govt. J. Thankima College at Chalfilh Mountain. Four Green Teachers, Three Officers from Mizoram Pollution Control Board (MPCB) along with fifty (50) members of National Green Corps (Eco Club) participated in this Nature Camp. The theme of the Nature Camp is orienting the students to the unique biological and cultural aspects of the mountain.

 Outcome:

The outcome of a nature camp is that participants will gain knowledge about the environment, develop a sense of stewardship for nature, and build skills for outdoor activities. They will also have the opportunity to form connections with other campers and create lasting memories of their time in nature.
