Objective       •           To highlight the importance of life skills: Discuss and underscore the significance of life skills in enabling individuals to effectively cope with life’s challenges and demands.

• To explore the role of ethics in personal and professional development: Examine the impact of ethics, particularly work ethics, on shaping one’s character, choices, and achievements.
• To demonstrate the practical application of life skills and ethics: Provide examples and anecdotes shared by the resource person to illustrate how life skills and ethics contribute to personal and professional success.
• To inspire and motivate students: Utilize the resource person’s personal journey and successes as a source of inspiration, encouraging students to cultivate life skills and uphold ethical standards in their own lives.

Summary       

On September 14, 2023, a collaborative seminar between HBC and GJTC of the education department was convened at HBC. The seminar featured Maj. H. Lalnunsangi as the resource person. Maj. H. Lalnunsangi emphasized the significance of life skills, defining them as the capabilities facilitating adaptive and constructive behavior, essential for effectively navigating life’s challenges. Furthermore, she expounded on the importance of ethics, underscoring the necessity of possessing strong work ethics and elucidating how these principles profoundly influence one’s life trajectory. Maj. H. Lalnunsangi attributed her personal success to her cultivated life skills and work ethics, highlighting their pivotal role in shaping her journey. The session proved enlightening, fostering engaging discussions
