COMMON PLATFORM CAMPAIGN FOR STUDENTS’ UNION LEADER’S ELECTIONS

A programme of Common Platform Campaign for Students’ Union Leader’s Elections, 2022 was organised by the Returning Officer on Thursday, August 4, 2022, at the Central Campus.

The programme was hosted by the Polling Officer (PO) Dr. David A. Ramchullova, Assistant Professor.  And, Dr. Lalrinngheta, Returning Officer (RO) of the elections highlighted the procedure of elections and asked the candidates and their supporters to adher to the conduct rules of elections and to adopt fair means in garnering supporters and voters in his address.

Each candidate was allotted 10 minutes to campaign.

MODE OF ELECTION AND GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

1. To cast vote, students need to bring any one of the following identification document – Student’s ID card/Voters ID card/Aadhar card/driving license/ration card.

2.Nine polling booths will be set up :

 Three polling booths for 1st semester classes in their respective section classrooms.

 Three polling booths for 3rd semester classes in their respective section classrooms.

 Three polling booths for all core students and BBA students.
