The College is an Arts College offering core subjects in English, Mizo, Political Science, History, Economics, and Education.

Admission is granted to candidates as per the norm of Mizoram University and the Government of Mizoram. Reservations are provided as per UGC guidelines.

The College follows Semester system as adopted by Mizoram University. In one semester there are two Internal Examinations and one external examination; one home assignment is compulsory in all papers.
