Objective:
The aim is to raise global awareness of the need for safe blood and blood products for transfusion and of the critical contribution voluntary, unpaid blood donors make to national health systems.
The context: On 6th April, 2023, Blood Donation Camp was jointly organised by NSS Unit (GJTC) and Blood Bank Aizawl Civil Hospital at the College Central Campus. Students from various classes sacrificed and donated their blood for the needy patients of Aizawl Civil Hospital.
Outcome: Blood camps experience a rewarding event that provides leadership opportunities, brings organizations together, and promotes a lifesaving cause.
