Welcome to Govt. J. Thankima College, Aizawl, Mizoram
I am really honoured and feel very privileged to function as Principal of Govt. J. Thankima College.
We, at Govt. J.Thankima College ensure high quality education which motivates and empower our students to be lifelong learners and the productive numbers of society. At GJTC, education is not just the amount of information that is put into learner’s brain. Our education system is the one that cater the individual needs of society.
We want all our students to achieve their full potential. Our task is to make it possible and our mission is to provide platform for the same.
Teachers at GJTC are highly qualified and experienced educators who are committed to supporting each student’s learning experience through quality instruction and the individual learner. Teachers work to provide students with differentiated support that address each student’s specific needs both academically and socially.
It is matter of immense pleasure and great satisfaction that our college has been granted grade A+ by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) Bangalore on 21st December 2022; the only state run Government College in Mizoram to have been granted such grade. This is the result of combined dedication, effort and hard work of the different bodies of college i.e. the teaching and non-teaching staff and the students’ body, alumni, parents, local communities etc. We strive to maintain and achieve higher grade in the future.
My commitment to our community is to lead the college with enthusiasm and passion to enable us to reach our goals. Let us work together to make GJTC as the best college, it can be.
